Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center

Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center is a licensed 56-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility nestled in the Cumberland Gap plateau. Our center offers semi-private rooms and private suites in our 2016 constructed skilled unit, and gladly provides rehab-to-home programming, including weekend therapy. We serve our residents from the heart, and that is one reason why we offer so many personalized amenities. Our activities program is a step above expectations, including weekend activities, pet therapy, and community integration trips to places such as the Big South Fork Park and Railway, and nearby Knoxville attractions. With our dedicated team of professionals, including an LPN who has been an Oneida team member for over 30 years, we also host an annual community luau where guests enjoy a full dinner and entertainment provided by our staff and residents.

Our center offers post-acute rehabilitation, with physical, occupational, and speech therapies available seven days a week, as well as long-term care, dementia care, wound care, and comfort care. We invite you to come tour our facility – sit a spell with us on the back porch, catch a game of corn-hole in the courtyard,d or watch a new release on the big screen in our movie room. Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center is rated four stars by CMS and is the proud recipient of the Graceful Living Award in years 2018 and 2017 from Grace Healthcare Support Services.

On November 26, 2019 our center was awarded The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Nursing Care Center Accreditation for complying with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care, and a commitment to continually improving patient care. In addition, our compliance with the National Patient Safety Goals was validated by The Joint Commission in 2019.

Whether recovering from a surgery, stroke, fall, or any other health condition that would benefit from rehabilitation, our Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center therapy department provides therapy services for the community for a wide range of diagnoses. Working to gain a clear understanding of personal goals, we are committed to returning our residents to their highest possible level of function and independence.

Physical, occupational and speech services offered seven days a week.

Most patients will receive rehabilitation at least five days a week. Therapy may take place in both individual and group treatment settings, and sessions will be scheduled for various times throughout the day. Family members are encouraged to provide moral support, observe therapy sessions, and discuss goals, progress, and plans for discharge.

Our center specializes in short-term rehabilitation, and features a 14-bed skilled unit for post-acute rehabilitation stays, which features a separate entrance into a beautiful sunroom and private suites with state-of-the-art tiled walk-in showers and other handicap accessible bathroom amenities. Each room in this unit provides coziness with a lush down comforter, stylish furniture, guest seating, and flat screen TV.

Rehabilitation services are provided to Medicare beneficiaries or individuals covered by private pay and most health insurance plans.
