We like to think that Scott County, Tennessee, is one of the most scenic places in the Southeastern United States. Hopefully, these photos will show you why we're partial to this place. Nestled in the heart of the Cumberland Mountains, atop the Cumberland Plateau, Scott County is a virtual scenic vista. Bordered by the free-flowing Big South Fork of the Cumberland River and the 125,000-acre national park that surround it to the west and the 140,000-acre North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area to the east, the economic and industrial hubs of Oneida and Huntsville are surrounded by miles of territory that looks almost like it did when white settlers first reached these parts in the late 18th Century. Browse through the collection of photos taken by Scott County citizens, and add your own!
